Description

100th Day of School: Celebrate the 100th day of school by using this fun themed math sheet. It's the perfect way to review some basic skills that all relate to the number "100" (most numbers used are larger than the hundred's place, but they have a one in the hundreds, along with 0 tens and 0 ones). See a description of the problems below. It could be used as morning work, homework, or even as a warm up for for math class on the 100th day of school. Use it in your classroom however you would like.

This 100th day math activity was designed with fourth graders in mind, but it could also be used as a basic review for fifth graders. See the skill list below to decide if you think it will work for your students.

The problems cover the following concepts, and they all include "100":

*Title: 100 Days Smarter in Math!

Round the numbers 742,100 and 856,100 to the nearest thousands, ten thousand's, and hundred thousand's place.

Write a larger number in word and expanded form

Using a larger number with "100", color the digits that have a line of symmetry.

How many of each coin would be needed to equal 100 pennies?

A time is given. What time will it be in 100 minutes? Also, draw the hands on the clock.

What does it mean if you make 100 percent on an assignment?

Write all of the factors of 100.

How many feet are equal to 100 yards? inches?

For given polygons, how many would you need to equal 100 sides?

Take two improper fractions and write the mixed numbers for each. Reduce.

On the hundred's chart, shade in the first ten prime numbers between 1-100.

Solve the addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division problems, which all have 100 in them.
