14 Pop Up Cards - Exploring Mechanisms. Techniques - STEAM Crafts All Holidays

A collection of different types of pop up cards to "see you through the seasons" (including none holiday cards). Though these cards come with templates to help you and your students create lovely cards, students are encourage to take what they have learned and design their own cards using the same techniques!

The seasons included here are:

• General (e.g. birthday)
• Valentine's Day which doubles up as Mother's Day
• Easter Card
• Fall Cards
• Halloween Card/ Dia De Los Muertos
• Christmas Cards

The different techniques explored are:

1. Basic mechanism to be used with any drawing, design or photo
2. "Beak" pop up (for monsters and owls)
3. "Face" pop up (for Teddy Bears, Snowmen, Sugar Skulls)
4. "Paper Chain" pop up (for Gingerbread Man and Halloween Friends)
5. "Bauble" pop ups (For Hearts, Eggs, Unicorn and Reindeer)

A total of 14 resources are included, but you can see that some have options to encourage different color schemes or embellishments so students can use these in different seasons (e.g. the Teddy Bear and Owl Pop Up)!
