Description

Included are three sample poems with a color used as the title. There are two poems entitled "Blue" and one entitled "White." These are meant to be used as samples for students to refer to when writing their own color poems. I use these when we are focusing on sensory details and/or imagery. Students write an assigned amount of lines in the poem that pertain to each sense (usually one or two lines for sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste).

These poems can be pulled up on a Smartboard or printed as handouts. Enjoy!
