TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I love the variety of topics and lexile levels, how each question shows what standard it relates to, and how the questions cause the students to create their own ideas as well as refer back to the text to find evidence to support their answers. I am definitely not disappointed in this resource in any way!” – Allyson B.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "A 3rd grade teacher's dream come true - literally. Amazing text, LOVE the step by step piece by piece directions (for example, go back in the text and color this answer green, this one purple, etc) Perfect for my kids who need that extra push to follow directions and absolutely aligns with CC in terms of having students PROVE their answers with evidence directly from the text! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”- Mayley C.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I feel like there are so many close reading resources on TPT! I have been overwhelmed looking through all of them. By far, you have the BEST quality, quantity, and price on TPT. Thank you for making an affordable product that I can use over and over in my classroom:)” – Miranda N.

NOTE:

The Common Core standards consider 2nd and 3rd grade level texts within the same Lexile level band of 450-790. That means I use many (about 85%) of the same texts in both the 2nd and 3rd grade reading passages. I only modify the reading passages slightly for text complexity and to better match the specific grade level standards. However, you will see that the questions and activities on each of these grade level products are completely different and aligned to that grade level’s standards.
