What educators are saying

My students did well with the 5 finger retell worksheets. This resource aligns with our Wit and Wisdom reading curriculum.
I love using these and my students love them as well. I appreciate that the pages are differentiated for students who are stronger and weaker in writing skills.

Description

Graphic organizers to help guide students through a 5 finger retelling of a story. The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.

3 different versions for story elements:

  • Characters, setting, problem, events, ending
  • Characters, setting, beginning, middle, end
  • Characters, setting, problem, events, solution

Graphic Organizers (story maps) come with blank spaces and with writing lines which makes for easy differentiation.
