Description
Whether you call these questions "Would You Rather" or "This or That", your students will get moving, have fun, and build a classroom community with these NO PREP brain breaks! I’ve included 50 PowerPoint slides, printable task cards, a black and white list format, and response sheet. Each slide includes real photographs and hand signals to represent each choice. These questions are designed to keep students engaged and create thoughtful conversations.
⭐ When using the questions with the whole class, I sometimes pose the question a second time to allow students the opportunity to choose a different option after an initial discussion. This exercise is fun, and it helps kids develop critical thinking skills. They begin to learn to consider other's opinions.
❤️ Why you'll love this resource: ❤️
You can add in movement by asking students move to one part of the room or another depending on their answer. You could extend the activity by having students create their own “Would You Rather..." questions. Writing "Would you rather..." questions requires kids to create two options and also evaluate whether or not those options are equal in appeal. Part of the process is answering the questions, so be sure and give students an opportunity to share their questions with each other.
For only $1.22 more, my Would You Rather PowerPoint is also included with my Last Week / First Week of School Activities! Check it out HERE!
