What educators are saying

This was a wonderful visual for my children which helps them with pronunciation and a visual prompt :)
EL students need visuals to help in their language development. These visuals pair perfectly with our phonics program. I used them to create a sound wall in our writing center. They are amazing.

This bundle includes a set of color alphabet wall cards with real photos.

Each card is 10.8 by 5.04 in size and includes an engaging initial sound photo, the letter in a traditional font, and an image/s of kindergarten students making the sound.

These are one letter per page and take up most of the page so you can displace them in print or digitally.

This set includes 3 sections:

  • Letters A-Z. Includes mouth photo, letters in upper and lower, and the keyword picture that aligns with our Phonics and Phonemes Resource.
  • 44+ Phonemes. Includes mouth photo, sound in virgules ( /g/, /ā/, etc), and keyword picture that aligns with our Phonics and Phonemes Resource. This set does include /x/ and /q/ as well.
  • Others & Teacher Requests. This set includes previous versions of keyword pictures as well as teacher-requested keywords.

What are the vowels used?

  • Short Vowels are represented in the A and are apple, edge, itch, octopus, and up as the vowels.
  • The phoneme set has bee, itch, apron, edge, apple, ice, dog, up, saw, bone, book, moon, unicorn, coin, ouch, bird, car, and fork for the vowels.
  • We have several other options in the other section too that have been requested.

Please note, the letter X is the final sound and letters x and q have 2 photos for mouth formation since they are made by combining two phonemes (they are clearly labeled).

My students are making good progress with their letter sounds. These hang proudly right with my alphabet. I especially like the real photographs used to make them!"
