Description

Point of view Worksheets, Cut and Paste Activities, Short Passages, Story Writing (from a character's point of view) and Task Cards to help students identify who is telling the story. Great resource for perspective taking and author's point of view. The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.

5 worksheets: Each page has two different stories. Students read each story and identify who is telling it.

6 worksheets: Students read the story on the page, identify whose point of view the story is being told from and then write about how they knew.

5 sheets: Students write from the point of view of the given character.

- alien, shark, teacher, turtle, and a blank one

4 Questionnaire Sheets: Students answer the questions from the point of view of: a dog, cat, their teacher, or other.

2 worksheets: Students read the sentence and circle whose point of view it is.

3 Cut and Pastes: Students cut out the quotes and paste them under the correct animal or person.

Task Cards OR Write the Room Activity: Recording sheet and 10 task cards. The cards have 1-3 sentences on them for students to read and then identify which of the listed people/animals point of view it is coming from. Answer sheet included.
