Bar Graphing: A Super Hero Story Problem Grades 3-5 (Great for Intro or review)

Students will love this story problem, which first asks them to read a brief story, collect the data needed, and then to create a bar graph based on this information.

After creating their bar graph, students will answer multiple questions based on the information. There are direct questions from the graph.

As well as this activity, students are also given a blank page where they can create their own bar graph story problem. In the packet, it is explained that students can write their story and then have a friend create a bar graph based on the information.
