What educators are saying

This was a fun way to compare and contrast the video. The students had the cards out during the movie and moved them into the correct categories during the movie. They loved it.
This is a great resource to use after reading the book and watching the movie. Students were ver engaged. Just what I was looking for. Thank you!

Description

In this activity, students are given 20 cards each with a statement. The statements are true only for the book, only for the movie, or are true about both.

Students then have to sort the cards into the correct category (book only, movie only, both book and movie). Or students can use the answer sheet to read each statement and identify if the statements are true for the movie, book, or both. The answer key is provided.

This is a great activity to use after reading the book and watching the movie as an assessment, as a review before an assessment, or as a start for discussion. It's always fun to talk to students about why the producers keep some items from the book but change others.
