This bundle includes two digital writing resources. One can be used for the beginning of the year and one for the end of the year.
Resource #1- All About Me Top 10
I'm always looking for new ways to get to know my students at the beginning of the year. This resource is a great way to do just that while also introducing your students to Google Slides. Students work through a series of 10 slides where they tell about different aspects of their life and who they are as a person and student. This resource requires NO PREP!!
What's included:
Teacher Instructions with a link to the Google Slides Resource
11 Slide Google Presentation for students (Students type in the Slideshow to answer)
You can easily assign this slideshow to students through Google Classroom or send it to students through email. Each student will need their own copy of the slideshow.
After all students have completed the activity, you can have a gallery walk of all of the slideshows so students can get to know each other better!
Resource #2- End of the Year Top 10
This Google Drive resource is a great way to end your year and have students look back on this school year! When you purchase this resource, you will be given teacher instructions and a link to download this activity in Google Slides. This activity requires NO PREP and can easily be shared with students through Google Classroom or email.
During this activity, students are asked to:
-List 10 pieces of advice you would give to students who will be in your current grade next year.
-Find 9 images to represent your school year.
-Reflect on 8 different emotions that you have felt this year and what caused these emotions.
-List the 7 most important parts of your typical day.
-Describe the 6 most popular items from the last year (music, TV, movies, etc.).
-Discuss 5 friends who have made a difference in your life this year (or teachers).
-List and describe 4 events from this school year that you will never forget.
- Discuss 3 favorite activities, projects, or assignments from any class this year.
- List your 2 favorite subjects and describe why you like them from this year.
-Write 1 letter to your future self.
This activity is perfect for any subject area for grades 6-12!
