Benefits of Breastfeeding Webquest

This is a google slides presentation; each slide has a link for students to click on. The links will take them to sources like the American Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, a couple of research publications from the Journal of American Medical Association, etc. Each slide has the link for the source that students should go to and read and corresponding questions to answer. There are 7 links to different reliable sources and 13 questions total. The google slides format can be shared on google classroom- you can set it to where students receive their own copy of the presentation and edit their name and answers directly on the presentation to turn in (and study/review later). I always preface this with information about formula feeding and general information about breastfeeding. I also make sure they know that formula exists for a reason and is available for moms who cannot breastfeed (and that moms shouldn't be shamed for choosing either). Students need internet access for this; you could also print the questions and sources from the links for them if they do not have computers (would be a lot of paper for individual work, might be better for group work if you must print).
