Boho Style Hexagon Desert Class Jobs Display
What educators are saying
Description
I created this class jobs display to have an organized system that my students can manage themselves. Each class job is displayed in a hexagon that can be cut out and hung on the wall. I have clothespins with each student's name that I clip onto the hexagons. Every week, the names are rotated throughout the hexagons so that each student gets a new responsibility. I created a poster that lists each of the job responsibilities that can be hung next to the display. Students can read the poster to remind themselves of what they need to do for their new job of the week.
I love how this system builds classroom community and social skills. Students learn how they can help others, and they feel like they have a personal role in what happens in our classroom. Plus, it creates less effort for me as a teacher as I include my students in the organizational upkeep of our room!
