Help motivate and assist ALL readers, even those reluctant readers, in choosing the perfect book. Simply put book recommendations in the hands of your students. Anytime a student finishes a book and feels the need to give it a positive (or negative) recommendation, have them fill out a recommendation bookmark. Choose from 3 options. The first option (the first pictured in the preview) is available in 3 sizes.
Largest Bookmark - 6.72" by 4.19"
Medium Bookmark - 6.24" by 3.89"
Small Bookmark - 5.55" by 3.53"
Simply have students use an Expo marker to write their name on the line. Invite them to share their reasons for their rating on a post-it note. Stick it to the bookmark and place it inside the book. Bookmarks can be reused time and time again! Option 2 and 3 bookmarks allow students to check boxes or circle phrases that help give the potential reader an idea if that book would be a good fit for them.
Another option is to print on paper for one-time use only.
