What educators are saying

This bundle contains a variety of activities for all different sections of the book. It is keeping the students engaged throughout the duration of our weekly read-aloud.
This was a great resource to go along with the Willy Wonka story- this was jam packed with fun activities.

Description

Have you been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with your students? This is my very favorite unit to teach at the end of the year! Celebrate WONKA WEEK with your students using the activities from this fun pack. Pass out chocolate bars for good behavior and have the students search for the golden tickets. Then end your unit by making your very own WONKA BARS!

It includes ELA and Math printables, along with fun and engaging activities to accompany Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Included:

-Golden Ticket Template (to hide in mini chocolate bars)

-Listen and Sketch Activity (to use during read aloud)

-Favorite Character Description Webs (for each character)

-Map It Out (make a map of one of Wonka's rooms)

-Lickable Wallpaper (using Fruit Roll-Ups)

-Writing for Wonka (adding more details to writing)

-2 Making Words Activities

-Setting Sketch (analyze the settings in the story)

-Compare and Contrast Venn Diagrams (with and without lines)

-Problem and Solution Flap Book

-5 Writing Prompts and Writing Paper (with and without dotted lines)

-Wonka's Candy Shop Money Activity

-Wonka's Word Problem Page

-Wonka Candy Graphing

-Willy Wonka Directed Drawing

-Invent Your Own Candy Activity and Template

-Invent Your Own WONKA BARS Activity and Instructions (this is my favorite!)

Your students will talk about this unit for years to come! It is definitely my favorite week to celebrate at the end of the year. I promise that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will become your favorite new read aloud, too!
