    Description

This comprehensive Children's Rights Activities Bundle is ideal for supporting your students in learning about Children's Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (also known as the UNCRC).

    This Children's Rights Bundle includes:

    • Children's Rights Collaborative Display - This display pack includes a 32 piece display based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Each page features a large hexagon with a statement regarding a right identified in the UNCRC and space for the students to draw a picture. Once your students cut out their hexagon, create your display by joining up all the hexagons in whatever pattern works best for you and your available display space. This display is ideal all year round in any classroom!

    • Children's Rights Word Searches - Three wordsearches based on the topic of Children's Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (also known as the UNCRC). Each word search comes in color and printer-friendly versions. This is a handy no-prep activity for your students to complete after learning about rights. There are three levels of the wordsearch included so you can easily differentiate for your students.

    • True or False Sorting Activity - This true or false sorting activity is perfect for sparking conversation and debate about rights and the UNCRC! Students work together to sort 28 statements under the headings 'true' and 'false'.

    • Children's Rights Poem - Looking for a poem for introducing or revising Children's Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child? This Children's Rights Poem is a handy print and go sheet with pictures for your students to color in at the bottom. The file includes 3 versions of the sheet with different images.

    • Flashcards - 28 flashcards for teaching key words relating to rights. They would also be helpful in creating a Children's Rights bulletin board.

    • KWL Charts - Ideal for eliciting prior knowledge, identifying questions and recording new learning.

    • Brainstorming Sheets

    • 2 Reading Comprehensions (two levels for you to choose from)

    • 9 worksheets for assessment and/or display

    • 2 styles of bunting for a class display
