    Description

    Teach your class about the environment and the effect of human impact on our planet. This bundle explores different aspects of environmental questions and issues that are raised in our classrooms. These are no-prep lessons that are colorful with straightforward explanations and examples of what each issue is and why it is a concern. Each resource has lots of visual examples to enhance a child's understanding and leaves room for teacher adaptation. Check out individual resources for a more detailed description of each learning packet.

    This is a growing bundle of no prep single lessons - tried and tested - for learning about Human impact and a range of environmental issues. I also regularly update these resources so please do not hesitate to comment or feedback if there is something you needed to be included in this resource to save you time in your planning and lesson prep.

    How to use this pack:

    • Each presentation (Google Slides Version or PowerPoint) are related to the environment or environmental issues in some way.
    • Where appropriate, there are detailed instructions about how to upload photos, upload videos, speakers notes and other useful information at the beginning of each slide pack. You can choose to delete these and any slides for your own classroom use in order to differentiate for your child.
    • These resources can be used in their own right or as part of an existing topic project that you are already using.
    • Many produces such as 'Climate Change' also link to "Endangered animals' or Looking after the environment and if you find children want to know more, you can delve deeper in other presentations included in the bundle.
    • Digital stickers are a great way to reward your students and are included in this pack. For Google Classroom you simply need to download them and copy and paste them into your students work.
    • These products are regularly updated as news about climate change and climate change events such as extreme weather are included in order to keep resources as relevant as possible.
    • As our children are global citizens, there is information about different countries around the world.
    • Embedded video links are included in many resources - make sure that you have a live access to the internet in order to view these and the Google resources themselves.
    • The '30' minute range of resources can be used as a full lesson - as there are a selection of activities that can be included or removed depending on your teaching time frame.
