What educators are saying
I love using these standards anchor charts. The illustrations that accompany the standard helps students make sense of the standard. They really enjoy them.
Used these to make my teacher anchor charts to hang around the room and printed mini versions for their interactive math notebooks.
Description
The math anchor charts for 4th grade are charts for each Common Core standard
and essential question. Models or problems are included on each chart. I use the
charts at the beginning of a lesson to introduce the standard, unpack the standard
(break it down for kids to understand) or review the standard. Since the charts are
in PDF, I import the chart on my active board. Every chart has at least one essential
question. I place an anchor chart with math center activities during math workshop
and use the anchor charts to review the standard during small group differentiation
with remedial or advanced instruction. I have the anchor charts saved on my
computer, external hard drive and a jump drive if I will be teaching a lesson outside
of my room (co-teaching with another teacher or in the computer lab.) The charts
have served as an invaluable resource for my math instruction.
