What educators are saying

Kiddos loved this! Thank you so much for sharing. Grateful for fun and free options for public school early educators like myself who don't have private funds for such materials!
A beautiful and fun resource to practice name recognition at the beginning of the school year. Hung them in the hallway for open house!

Description

$1 STEAL through Monday only! This fun back to school craft also doubles as a name puzzle - this crayon box name craft is the perfect addition to any name unit and such a fun way to build in name practice! Students will create their own crayon box name craft with their name on the front. They (or the teacher) will write one letter of their name on each crayon and place them in the crayon box pocket.

DIGITAL - This back to school craft now includes a DIGITAL version for use with Google Slides™, Seesaw™, or PowerPoint™! Students can use it over and over again as a digital name literacy center! This is perfect for distance learning. See the video preview for a closer look.

Hang up for an adorable bull board display or let students take the crayons out to practice putting together their name! Use cardstock or laminate the crayons for durability. This would be perfect to send home for extra practice.

Includes EDITABLE crayon boxes - you can type students' names onto the front of their crayon boxes and print!

Two options have been added for longer names. Thinner crayons to use with the original crayon box, or a wider crayon box with slightly shorter crayons. If you want to use the original crayon box and crayons, you can also layer them within the crayon box.
