These six diphthong posters will suit consolidation at all ability levels. The inclusion of a variety of easy and harder words containing diphthongs caters for older students when the word is already understood and will engage those students who thrive on extension.
They would also look great on a classroom wall or in a literacy corner for consolidation to develop the phonemic ability to recognise and link these sounds to their spelling patterns.
These posters are included in some of my diphthong games. The games provide the repetition that some students need, but they also provide fun and engagement for all abilities. It's a great way to be inclusive.
