================

In this game, students will be presented with a number. The numbers have whole numbers that go to the thousand's place and the decimals go to the thousandths. Because of space limitations and kids already knowing the values of whole numbers, the focus of this game was to present numbers that had decimals to the thousandth's place, which is why the whole numbers are not that large. In each of the numbers, a digit is underlined. Students will tell the place and the value of the underlined digit.

How does the game work? Students will roll, solve, and then go. On a student's turn, they will roll the dice one time. They will then move that many spaces. They will then tell the place and the value of the underlined digit..Their partner will check the answer on the key. If they get it right, they get to move ahead one more space. If they miss it, they move back 3 spaces. The first one to the end wins the game.

**Please, ... if you are unsure about anything with the game or you have questions, I would appreciate if you send me a message before purchasing. I want you to be happy with the activity. :-) Thank you.**

NOTE: This is a black/white game with black line graphics. There is NOT a color copy included. When I created this for my own class, I decided to make something that took few copies, something that would save my ink, something that had easy directions, and was very little prep work. :-)

This decimal place value game will work perfectly as a math center during math rotations.

Please look closely at the thumbnails and preview to make sure the decimals I chose will work for you.

For this game, you will need a dice, game markers, the game board, the answer key, and possibly notebook paper.

Your students are sure to have fun as they play.
