Description
This bundle includes four (4) lesson packages that work well together for teaching Design Principles, Color Theory, Writing for the Web, Web Design, and a print or single web-post application.
The resources will walk teachers and students through the aforementioned lesson packages which ideally are presented to students at the beginning of a web design or advertising graphic design course or at the onset of a Marketing unit.
Students will understand and begin to apply; marketing concepts, design principles, color theory, typography, and other technical knowledge required to create effective graphic designs and readable layouts.
The bundle includes engaging and effective PowerPoint presentations, digital handouts, rubrics, project outlines, as well as formative and summative assessments. Using this bundle, students will apply the learning in two comprehensive projects - a Website and print or Instagram Post as well as a summary written response.
The basics of effective web design are explored and applied in this bundle. So in addition to technical steps of learning how to make a website, Teacher and student are exposed to design elements, writing for the web, and site navigation. Step by step instructions help teacher and student navigate the New Google Sites App adding yet another technology skill to your toolbox.
