Digital Apples Activities - Boom, Seesaw, and Google Slides - Distance Learning

This set includes three activities all about apples that are pre-loaded into three different digital learning platforms. Each activity includes a short nonfiction ebook (read-aloud) followed by interactive comprehension activities. A great addition to your apples unit, these activities cover "How Apples Grow," "Apple Treats," and "Apple Parts."

After you purchase this resource, you will download a PDF that includes links to access each of these resources in Boom Learning, Google Slides, and Seesaw*. This way, if you change platforms in the future, you'll be all set!

What You'll Get:

How Apples Grow: This activity includes a short nonfiction e-book about the life cycle of an apple. The book is in video form in Seesaw and Google Slides and is in slide form in Boom Learning. After students listen to the book, they will complete four drag and drop life cycle slides.

Apple Parts: This activity includes a short informational e-book about the parts of an apple (stem, skin, flesh, seeds, and core) followed by three drag and drop labeling and comprehension activities.

Apple Treats: This activity includes an informational e-book about foods made from apples. The comprehension activities include sorting apple and non-apple products, selecting apple products the student would like to try, and following three step instructions to assemble a digital apple pie.

The Seesaw versions of each of the activities also contain an open-ended drawing slide at the end where students draw based on a simple prompt and use the recording feature to tell about their picture.
