    This math bundle contains 6 Christmas themed digital resources: Counting forward and backward to 120, addition and subtraction within 20, comparing numbers, place value, fact families, and data. These resources are perfect for Google Classroom. The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.

    Place Value: Tens and Ones:

    30 slides:

    • Drag the tens and ones cubes to make the given number
    • Drag the tens and ones presents to make the given number
    • Count the cubes to identify the tens and ones
    • Count the presents to identify the tens and ones
    • Circle the number that matches the tens and ones cubes
    • Circle the number that matches the tens and ones presents

    Fact Families:

    30 slides:

    • Given 3 numbers, drag the numbers to make a fact family
    • Drag the missing equation to each fact family
    • Sort the equations into fact families
    • Solve for the missing number (part-part-whole chart)- then make a fact family with the numbers

    Comparing Numbers:

    20 slides:

    • Drag the symbol to compare the cubes

    Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
    Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
    Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
    Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
