Description

We all know that we need to continue spiraling the concepts we taught so the kiddos don't forget this material, which is why I created this February math spiral review. This packet is meant to be used with Google Classroom and Google Slides, a quick and easy way to get your kids reviewing previous concepts each day digitally.

This 20 slide spiral review packet focuses students in on the concepts that were previously taught in 3rd grade.

The February edition includes the following skills:

*Fractions

Partition shapes, Numerator, Denominator , Visual model/unit fractions, Writing a fraction as an identified part of a set, Number line between 0 & 1, Compare and order

*Number Sense

*even and odd, rounding/estimating, Place value, <, >, =

*Addition/Subtraction

Addition and subtraction to the thousands place with regrouping.

*Time

*Multiplication Properties

Associative, commutative, and distributive

*Multi-Step Word Problems

*Geometry/Measurement

Symmetry, congruent, perimeter, area, names of polygons

The questions each day are very similar from day to day, so kids can continue improving and practicing the same skills each day over the course of the month.

Also included is a data tracking page that you may want to print at the end of your students’ packets. After completing each day’s spiral, students can shade in the tracking sheet to help see areas of strength and weakness. This is also available digitally for students in this pack.

Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
A square with side length 1 unit, called “a unit square,” is said to have “one square unit” of area, and can be used to measure area.
Solve real world and mathematical problems involving perimeters of polygons, including finding the perimeter given the side lengths, finding an unknown side length, and exhibiting rectangles with the same perimeter and different areas or with the same area and different perimeters.
Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones. Understand the following as special cases:
