Digital Memory Book : End of Year Activity : Made for Google Slides

Your students will enjoy filling out this fun end of the year digital memory book. It will give them time to reflect and think back over their entire year. It's the perfect way to have students write type thoughts as they close out the year. Make sure the parents get a digital copy and it will make a great keepsake.

What do you mean when you say digital? When you purchase this file, you will receive a pdf with directions on how to make a copy of the Google Slides memory book. There is not a printable version in the pdf file. TpT lists this activity as having a pdf and a Google Activity, but they show pdf because I include the link and the directions in a pdf file. The memory book itself is NOT within the pdf file.

Is it color or black and white? Because this was designed to be used digitally, all pages are in full color.

So, can it be printed? The file was not designed to be printed in black and white, as there is NOT a black and white version included. But, if you are lucky enough to have access to color printing, you can try and print the slides from your Google Drive.

How many different pages are there? 19 pages. They include a cover and the-end page, plus 17 other pages.

What about text boxes for students to type in? When I created the file, I went ahead and added light gray text boxes throughout the file. All students have to do is click on the gray box and start typing. You are more than welcome to remove the text boxes from the file before you assign it.

Are there any student directions within the Google Slides? I did type some student directions out in the margin of the file. Once again, you can remove or edit these before you make students their own copy. The directions say:

• Text boxes have already been added.  Click on the gray boxes to type.
• If you don’t want the gray background for the text boxes, you can remove them and insert new text boxes that have a transparent background.
• To insert photos, go to “insert image”. Then click on “upload from computer”.  Find it on your computer.  Double click the image once you find it and it will be added to the slide.  Move the image to the correct position. Drag the corners to resize it.

What else do I need to know? Please let me just state again that this is full color and was originally created to be used digitally through Google Classroom. You are receiving a link to make a copy of the digital file. You will click the "Click HERE" button in the file and you will get a pop up to make a copy.
