Used these in my centers slides! Great visual to have to help the kiddos see how much time they have left to complete a task.
Love this for my own powerpoints. Love the cute font and it's super easy to use and navigate. I like all the time options too!

Description

Timers are important classroom management tools. These Digital Video Countdown Timers are perfect embedded into your Powerpoints or Google Slides to count down the remaining time in an activity. They can also be set to launch automatically when you put your Powerpoint in slideshow mode, which makes them perfect to time and signal centers rotations. Or, just play the video on its own to show students how much time is remaining in an activity.

You can use these Video Countdown Timers to show students the time remaining in an activity, or to challenge them to beat their previous time on a task. These timers can be used for individual students to help motivate them and keep them focused on a task, and are a great IEP or 504 accommodation tool.

A video tutorial is included in the preview and the read first file to help you see how to add the video and customize it for your Powerpoint display, along with directions on how to use them in Google Slides.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

15 different timers

  • 1 minute
  • 2 minutes
  • 3 minutes

Countdown timers are included for 5 minute intervals from 5 minutes to 60 minutes:

  • 5 minutes
  • 10 minutes
  • 15 minutes
  • 20 minutes
  • 25 minutes
  • 30 minutes
  • 35 minutes
  • 40 minutes
  • 45 minutes
  • 50 minutes
  • 55 minutes
  • 60 minutes, or and one hour.

Beginning at the 15 minute mark, the timer counts down by seconds. Anything above 15 minutes is a countdown by minute.

PLEASE NOTE: These timings are not perfectly precise, especially with the longer lengths of time, and are a few seconds off. While an extra 16 seconds on a 30 minute timer doesn’t make a difference for most classroom needs, these timers SHOULD NOT be used for standardized assessments.

You might also be interested in my Powerpoint Countdown Timers to display the time remaining in a more engaging and interesting way. These standalone Powerpoint timers are year-long tools as you change out the timer depending on the season or subject. They feature 16 different timers in 11 different classroom scenes.

NOTE: These are not for commercial use. You may not embed them within your own products (free or paid) either here or on another site.
