Description

Hands on Math Center to help students practice addition and subtraction within 20 as well as doubles and doubles plus one! The skills included are appropriate for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students.

  • 3 mats: Students sort the dominoes that have sums equal to the number given
  • 3 mats: Students sort the dominoes that have differences equal to the number given
  • 2 mats: Students find dominoes to match the addition equation where the given number is the sum/ total.
  • 2 mats: Students find the dominoes to match the addition equation where the given number is a part/ addend.
  • 1 mat: students sort the dominoes into doubles, doubles plus one, or neither
  • 1 mat: students sort the dominoes into doubles, double plus one, or neither, then they write the sum
  • 2 mats: students find the dominoes to match the subtraction equation where the given number is the difference/answer
  • 2 mats: students find the dominoes to match the subtraction equation where the given number is one of the parts
