What educators are saying
This was a perfect companion to Kid President's Youtube video on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. along with his "I Have a Dream" speech. The students were engaged and responded openly to the questions. As a follow up I assigned a short essay from the conclusion questions.
Description
Inspire your students to "live their best life" through Dr. King's speech on building your life's blueprint. This lesson is equipped with an excerpt of King's 1967 speech given to a junior high school audience in Philadelphia.
The teacher's guide provides prompts for lively discussions/debates among the students about what Dr. King suggested to his audience.
Please download from my TpT site, the instrumental laced audio of the shortened speech along with the transcript that is great for struggling readers.
