Description
In this 12 page activity, your students have everything they need to learn about the various types of business structures/organizations (sole proprietorships, franchise, partnership, corporation) that exist and the advantages/disadvantages of each.
In this activity your students will:
1) Complete a warm-up activity in which they watch a short introductory video describing the different business structures. (Video clip is public access)
2) Complete notes on the 4 main categories of business structures on a graphic organizer, using their class textbook or internet. (link to online article included)
3) Work in small groups to apply what they have learned to analyze a realistic business scenario and participate in a Short classroom simulation/game in which your students will act out the different business organizations! FUN!
4) As an EXIT CARD/Homework assignment students will answer a wrap-up question related to what they have learned in class.
**ALL HANDOUTS, WORKSHEETS, POWER-POINT SLIDES and Step-by-step Teacher Directions are included. (You will need to obtain some disposable plastic cups and balloons to conduct the simulation- cups can be reused)
