What educators are saying

My students and I enjoyed this resource to use for SOL prep. It was important to have resources that were aligned to the curriculum.
Used this to give more support to the lessons in my science curriculum. I didn't have a lot of information about producers, consumers, and decomposers so this worked out nicely.

Description

Ecosystem Powerpoint Producer, Consumer, or Decomposer and Response Worksheet

This interactive 28 slide ecosystem Powerpoint lesson features crisp, clear pics and is a fun way to get your students thinking as they classify organisms from different ecosystems. This ecosystem Powerpoint presentation has a fun background geared for elementary students. The lesson shows many examples of producers, consumers, decomposers, and ecosystems. A printable student response worksheet is included. It is a self checking activity and no prep is needed. Going through the PowerPoint slides about ecosystems is a great way to begin discussions and collaboration about adaptations, and how these adaptations help each organism survive in their ecosystems.

There is a Google Slides link attached to a document in the zip file for those who would like to use it in this format. If you need help opening a zip file, click this link:
