Egg Color & Write • Easy Art Lesson and Writing Activity • Fun Art Sub Lesson
- PDF
Description
This easy art critique activity is a great way to get students started describing lines, shapes, and colors in their art. All 5 egg designs are used on the writing pages. Students will first describe the lines are shapes that are already on the egg. Then, after adding their own colors, they will describe how they added color to the shapes and between the lines.
A word bank is provided at the bottom of the page.
The large eggs are great for your youngest artists. They can work on making color patterns with the shapes. They can also describe orally what kind of lines shapes and colors they see on their eggs.
The large eggs are also a great way to try out some different media. I describe one idea in the instructions. You can take a look at another idea in this Coloring Eggs blog post.
