Element Superhero Project- Periodic Table Research Application

The periodic table of elements is key to understanding and mastering chemistry concepts. This periodic table project is fun and engaging and brings the periodic table to life!

Students are encouraged to use their creativity to apply the concepts learned about the elements through some research. In this project, they design a superhero with abilities based on the properties of that element. Students explore the properties, uses and history of the element. They then use that knowledge to think critically in order to come up with abilities that match the element. Example: If the element is a gas, you might say that your villain can sneak through a crack into a room.
