This independent work is a great activity for settling an active class in the morning, after recess, or at the end of the day!

In the larger fourth grade morning work resource, the format repeats several times before a new concept is introduced. Only one new area/concept is introduced at a time while the rest of the worksheet mirrors the format the students have been practicing. Therefore, this morning work should remain a fairly independent activity!
Most fourth graders should be able to work on these independently. This pack begins by reviewing nouns, possessive nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, contractions, synonyms, antonyms, prefixes, suffixes. It scaffolds in number decomposition and number sentences. Then, addition, subtraction, and less than/greater than is reviewed. Time, place value, multiplication, division, sentence proof reading for spelling and conventions, rounding, fractions, word problem practice, and a cover page are included in this morning work pack.
*The answer key provides answers for the standard addition and subtraction problems, word problems, and grammar / sentence correction.
**Some of the pages in this packet are also in my third grade morning work packet. I would not recommend purchasing both third AND fourth grade morning work packs because of the overlap.
