What educators are saying

I need lots of SEL materials as many students are demonstrating SEL needs in our school. We are an LEA and have limited SEL materials. Thank you for this resource. I felt like it was appropriate for my youngest as well as my oldest elementary students.
My elementary social skills group loved this activity. I explained the emoji face to the students as we have all different level readers and they had to match the emotion I described to the face. Very fun.

Description

Your students will enjoy playing this bingo game featuring 24 emotions and feelings that they are likely to experience. It makes an engaging introduction to the subject and a welcome fun break in the classroom. Included are 24 calling cards and 30 unique bingo game boards. The emotions are illustrated with cute and colorful emoticons that truly capture the feeling. On each calling card, there is a definition and an example of the emotion.

We recommend that you laminate the boards and cards so that you can use them over and over. Equip your independent learning center with this game and kids will have something that is sure to quietly entertain them as they are learning. Bingo can be played with as few as two players and it is a game that is quickly understood by all ages.

The cards just by themselves also make an engaging learning resource. Print them twice and you are set to play a memory game.

The 24 words are: Angry, Annoyed, Anxious, Bored, Cheerful, Confused, Disgusted, Embarrassed, Excited, Frightened, Frustrated, Grumpy, Guilty, Happy, Jealous, Joyful, Lonely, Nervous, Proud, Sad, Silly, Surprised, Tired, and Worried.

DISTANCE LEARNING UPDATE: I know a lot of you have been playing BINGO with your students over Zoom and other meet up applications, so I have made it super simple for you to share a different board with each student. Your purchase includes a link to a printable board. You can share this link with your students in any fashion you wish. When they land on the page, a UNIQUE BINGO board will be generated. They can easily print this board and will be ready to play during your meet up. Your students will need access to the website where this board is hosted (dragdroplearning.com). This is an advertisement free website and completely safe for your students.
