Description

This figurative language game would make a perfect literacy center (or use it however you would like). The game has a 'Super Power' theme using bright and fun cartoon type characters.

In this game, students will draw a card with a sentence or phrase on it. They will read the card and identify the type of figurative language. The students will then be checked using the answer key, and then follow the directions to move around the board.

Types of figurative language are: hyperbole, alliteration, personification, idiom, metaphor, simile, onomatopoeia, and pun...

you will want to have already introduced these to the class, as they will be identifying the type used.

This game works perfectly as a file folder game. It comes with a cute themed cover, game board, 32 cards (4 each of the 8 types), an answer choice board, directions, and an answer key.

Your kids will have super fun playing this SUPER POWER Words game!
