What educators are saying

I love teaching SEL through a scientific lens. Showing students that there is a scientific aspect to how we behave and act helps them separate their behaviors from their personalities. Great resource and easy for my students to understand!
The information in this resource has been so helpful in helping my students understand what is happening in their brains when they are dysregulated and helps them to focus on taking control of it. Great resource!

❤️ What people are saying about this resource ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❝I am new'ish to teaching the hand model of the brain so I was looking for an easy way to do for both my understanding, and the students, and this was perfect! The visuals are engaging and easy to follow, breaking the parts of the brain down with animal references (wise owl, guard dog) My kids enjoyed it and could really explain the parts of the brain after and still talk about their wise owl and guard dog brains! ❞ ~ Calen C.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❝I loved using this resource with my elementary students while discussing trauma and how the brain works. The students liked having the visual along with the activity.❞ ~Holleigh L.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ❝I have always taught my students about the upstairs and downstairs brain but I LOVE the language around having the upstairs be a "wise owl" and the downstairs be a "guard dog." This will be a great supplement for our SEL resources. ❞ ~Rachel M.
