French Father's Day Activity - Activité pour la fête des pères (ARTIVITÉ)

This file includes a fun and interactive French craft for Father's Day. The craft includes a total of 4 pages and is easy to cut and assemble. The finished product is a folded toolbox that opens up. Inside the toolbox are a variety of written activities that students will complete about their dad.

Here is a list of what is included in this file:

1) A toolbox template (You can either have your students colour the toolbox or print it on coloured paper)

2) Two small triangles for the corners of the toolbox, a lock for the center and a handle.

3) A variety of tools for students to colour and glue to the back of their toolbox

4) Written task #1: Papa, je t'aime beaucoup parce que... Je te remercie pour...

5) Written task #2: Ce que j'aime faire le plus avec mon père...

6) Written task #3: Students will follow a series of prompts to write a letter to their dad

7) Written task #4: Cinq adjectifs qui décrivent mon père...

The end result is definitely worth it! You can also choose to print your mailbox on card stock paper. Parents can easily hang it somewhere or display it on their fridge.

This is most appropriate for students in Grades 2-4 French Immersion, but can be used up to Grade 6 in French Core and French Extended programs.
