Description
This activity and/or assessment engages students with graph interpretation in a creative way. The activity asks stuents to write stories that correspond to the motion depicted in position vs. time, velocity vs. time, and acceleration vs. time graphs. A sample of potential student work is included so that students have a clearer sense of the expectations in this activity. Each student works with five different graphs. In this document, different sets of graphs are included so that students are generally not working with the same graphs in the same order.
