6. The Cask of Amontillado Radio Play--What happens when a man seeks revenge of someone who treats him with nothing but ridicule? This classic short story, now a radio play script adapted for the classroom, has all the eeriness of the original short story, but really comes to life when produced with sound effects and music.
7. Storytelling Using Jig Saw Puzzle Pieces Halloween Themed--Here's a warm up lesson to put everyone in the mood. Using the jigsaw puzzle pieces as a way to team up the students, students create a mini-story based on the pieces, write it and scare (I mean "share") it with the class. This lesson can be done individually or with a partner.
8. Sound Effects Halloween Themed-- Use as a warm up exercise, students learn about Foley engineers, create a sound effect scene, use sound effects and work cooperatively in small groups to produce a scary scene for their classmates.
9. Tableau with Halloween Themed--Use this resource as a warm up or lesson to get everyone in the mood. This lesson integrates Halloween into the learning of tableau which makes very unique. Tableau is an important element of drama and easy and non-threatening for reluctant students to learn. Included in the lesson are two extension activities in case the teacher wants to make a longer lesson out of it.
