High School ELA Bellringers: Mentors, Grammar, First Chapter Friday, Test Prep

These book bellringers provide a way for you to combine your passion of instilling a love of reading with your obligation of preparing students for standardized testing. Think of it as First Chapter Friday meets mentor texts, grammar practice, and test prep.

We know that reading for reading's sake is the number one thing we can do to boost vocabulary, comprehension skills, and so much more. However, if you also need a way to review and teach tested skills explicitly, it is my intention that these bellringers keep the fun and freedom of choice reading while also giving you the tools you need to incorporate overt instruction.
