How To Writing for the Year: Graphic Organizers, Writing Templates, Booklets
- Zip
Description
A Year of How to...Writing includes 54 how to...topics. Writing events in sequential order and teaching others how we do things is such a fun way to develop strong writing skills. This resource includes a wide variety of topics, such as seasonal, holiday, character education, everyday events, etc.
This writing resource is differentiated and will be perfect for your low, average, and high students, in grades K-2.
Here is what's included:
54 how to...graphic organizers to help plan students' writing. There are 3 versions of each graphic organizer. One says last, one says finally, and one is blank, so students can add their own transition words.
54 how to...writing booklets. The booklets contain up to 6 pages. There are two blank pages for optional introduction and conclusion. There are pages with transition words: first, next, then, last/finally. You can easily choose the number of pages your students use.
-54 writing templates. These can be used instead of the How to...booklets, for more advanced writers. The writing templates match each graphic organizer.
-Optional Graphic Organizers. There are two different graphic organizers you can use, instead of using the webs.
