Description

Students as young as four years old will be thrilled when they learn to draw a star! As adults, we’ve been drawing these designs for so long, we tend to take it for granted. But for a young child, drawing a star for the very first time is nothing short of magical!

This 8-page pdf explains my simple method for teaching your youngest students how to draw a star. It includes four full-page diagrams that you can print out, laminate if you want, and hang on the wall for students to refer to as they memorize the steps. Once this process ‘clicks’ for them, muscle-memory takes over, and you’ll enjoy watching their enthusiasm as they draw stars like there’s no tomorrow! Make sure you have plenty of paper for your students to draw on because they won’t want to stop!

You’ll find students drawing stars for all occasions, all year long. These charming, hand-drawn stars are also perfect for Christmas cards or ornaments - students can color them like a stained glass window, cut them out, and laminate them to hang on a tree.

Drawing is an important life skill that enables us to become better communicators at home, at school, and at work. Anyone can learn to draw! When students learn to draw something they’re really proud of, it boosts their self-esteem and motivates them to keep learning.
