This bulletin board pack contains posters featuring quotes from famous folks about their love for music, bulletin board banner letters, printable heart-themed quarter and eighth notes, and a set of print/distribute cards where students can write about how they love music. Print out the cards for students, have them bring them back, and then post them on the bulletin board for the whole school to see! This bulletin board kit is great to print and hang for music advocacy, Jan/Feb festivities/concerts, and also for student encouragement and participation.
There are so many reasons to love music! Music helps us connect to our emotions, create honest relationships with others, and learn to be more expressive. Music also helps us with spacial reasoning, vocabulary skills, grammar, and many other development traits. Music education advocacy is something that we must do all the time to remind everyone what an important part the arts play in educating the whole student.
This product includes:
*8 different quotes posters talking about the transformative power of music from people like Victor Hugo, William Shakespeare, Friedrich Nietzsche, Maria von Trapp, Ray Charles, Pete Townshend and more.
* 8 printable notes for students to fill in. Have them fill out the notes and take them home to parents or have them complete the note, color it, and return to you (to be posted on the bulletin board).
*Banner words that spell out "I love music!"
*8 different Valentines-themed notes that feature quarter notes and eighth notes made out of hearts and love letters.
*All slides can be printed in black and white but are set in multiple colors.
