Description
In this Inca Empire Myth Busters and culture activity, students investigate six different statements on life in the Inca Empire, then either "prove" or "bust" each of the statements. Students learn about the Inca government, religion, climate, government, and more!
This resource is included in my Mesoamerica Unit Bundle to teach the Inca, Maya, and Aztec.
Students are engaged by evaluating six different myth sources and learn about Inca religion, government, climate and geography, education system, and the famous Inca trail (network of roads). After reading each statement, students try to find the myth source that helps them either "prove" or "bust" the statement!
Tons of fun, a great way to teach investigative skills in Social Studies, and an easy way to engage learners on the major aspects of the Inca Empire!
This resource includes a paper in-class version and a 1:1 Google compatible version to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom. Just follow the included instructions for how to access the Google version, then share the resource through Google or assign via Google Classroom. This will allow students to type directly into the document!
