Teaching inferences is not an easy task and this set helps students deepen and strengthen their abilities to form inferences. This activity provides an interactive way for them to form inference with 25 different scenarios. Sometimes students will make an inference on a character's traits, setting, character's feelings, etc. Not only will students form inferences, but they will be required to support their inferences with evidence from each passage which helps students realize that good readers form inferences must support their ideas/inferences with textual evidence.
You can laminate the task cards and place them in resealable plastic bag for students to use again and again!
