Thank you so much for this resource! It was the perfect start for a final project that I used with my classes. I wanted something that was going to be meaningful/relevant for the students and I was searching for an activity that was going to be enjoyable for them.
I love this resource and have used it for multiple years. I have even changed it slightly so that we can do it twice a year. I have used it as a holiday cuisine research as well. The students enjoy it although they would prefer not to have the essay portion.
Description
This student centered, self-guided, project has students to choose from a variety of project elements to compile a creative research project on an international cuisine of their choice. Allows for differentiation and creativity! I have used this with great success as part of a 2 week international foods unit, by following it up with demo/cooking labs! I hope your kids enjoy it as much as mine did!
