What educators are saying

Great resource! As an SLP, I use this sometimes at the start of session to help kiddos articulate what/how they're feeling. Super helpful!
As a psychologist working with autistic and often ADHDer kids, it is great to have a resource to help them learn about and develop skills in interoception.

Description

This 14-page PDF contains:

A brief introduction to Interoception (what it is, why it's important for neurodivergent clients, and how we can incorporate it into speech therapy sessions).

There are a handful of simple, low-cost activity suggestions to use in speech sessions, including descriptions, variations, feedback, and ways to word goals (ensuring they are firmly within a speech therapist's scope).

There is a male and female worksheet (coloured and black/white) to use at the beginning of each session. The coloured version could be laminated and filled in with whiteboard marker. The black and white version could be printed as needed and filled out.

This PDF can be used by clinicians who have no idea what interoception is or how to incorporate it into session.
