    Description

    Are you looking for the perfect way to get your Kindergarten students moving and learning? Write the room is it! This yearlong bundle will contain 6 kindergarten literacy centers each month designed to get your students up and learning.

    How to use the Write the Room Literacy Centers:

    1. Hang up the literacy center cards around the room
    2. Students will grab a recording sheet and a clipboard
    3. They will search the room for the cards
    4. When they find a card, they will color or write the answer on their recording sheet

    Differentiation made easy! Many of these Kindergarten write the room literacy centers contain multiple recording sheet options to make differentiation easier.

    Months included:

    August Write the Room Literacy Centers:

    • School Pup Letters: Students will search for the letter cards and trace the matching letter on their recording sheet.
    • Pencil Letters: Students will search for the letter cards and color the matching letter on their recording sheet.
    • Crayon Box Sounds: Students will search for the letter cards and color the matching letter or the matching beginning sounds picture.
    • I Know Colors: Students will search for the crayon cards. They will either color the matching color object or write their name in that color - editable name worksheets included.
    • True or False: Students will search for the letter pair cards. If the letters are a match, they will color a thumbs up. If they are not a match, they will color a thumbs down.
    • Vocabulary: Students will search for the back to school vocabulary cards. They will trace or write the word on their recording sheet.


    September Write the Room Literacy Centers:

    • Apple Letters: Students will search for the letter cards and trace the matching letter on their recording sheet.
    • Concepts of Print: Students will search for the cards and identify whether they show a letter or a number on their recording sheet.
    • Beginning Sounds: Students will search for the picture cards and color the matching beginning sound.
    • Color Worms: Students will search for the worm cards and identify the color of the apple. They will either trace the letter in that color, or write their name with that color.
    • True or False: Students will search for the letter pair cards. If the letters are a match, they will color a thumbs up. If they are not a match, they will color a thumbs down.
    • Vocabulary: Students will search for the back to school vocabulary cards. They will trace or write the word on their recording sheet.
