Description

This is a print and go activity! Working with the Lego WeDo 2.0 kits is an engaging hands-on STEAM activity! The kits themselves are highly motivating and captivating. I created these packets to provide students structure, guidance, and accountability while constructing these incredible creations!

You could organize this activity in several ways. Some possible suggestions are to have students work in groups all on the same task or in centers. The packet includes one building background page, 3 task cards that can be used to guide students through centers. In addition to the 3 guided task cards, there is a reflecting page. At the end of the project, we discussed all that factors that affect the speed of a car. We closed the activity by having a car race. We set up our own little track and raced each group’s car until we determined a winner. Later we discussed what modifications helped some cars go faster than others.

If you like this packet, it is part one of my bundles. It contains many more engaging lessons! Check it out at:
